V Smile?

Anybody have it for their child? How is it? We were looking for a gameboy alternative that's more preschooler friendly for our four year old.

Hi Paige!
Ainslee got a V.Smile for Christmas this past year. She loves it. The graphics are not very good, but it's entertaining, and the games have been pretty educational. Get a set that has 2 controllers (some sets only have 1) so they can play against a sibling or friend and make it more fun.

My kids love the VSMILE and there is so many Disney games for it. I highly recommend it!

I wish I would have just got my dd a gameboy instead. She totally lost interest in after a couple of months. She's got like 7 games and gets so bored. She was four when we got it for her.

If you are going to get it do go to Sam's club where they sell it with two controllers and I beleive it came with two games.

When my daughter was 3 she got a Leapster and she was able to play the game on there and it is portable like a game boy. They have mainly educational type games for it and she is 6 1/2 now and is still playing it!

We have the v-smile and the handheld v-smile. I have girls and they just don't seem to get video games the way I see little boys pick it up so fast. My 4 yo likes it, but I still would have to sit with her and help every inch of the way! My 8yo finally gets how to play her play station and gameboy. We will be taking the hand held on the plane with us next month. Whoever is sitting next to our younger dd will have to help her though. The charger with the hand held isn't that great though. It doesn't sit on it very well, so you have to really mess with it to get it to charge.

We were thinking of the handheld, so he can play it in the car when brother is playing his Gameboy.
