Hi All, I am going to WDW for a belated honeymoon in August and my husband and I would love to treat ourselves to the Chef's Table at Victoria & Albert's. My question is has anyone ever been successful in getting reservations through concierge services or am I better off calling in on my own. I hit my 180 day mark today, was connected to V&A at 7:02 AM and the table was already booked for the first night of my stay so my DH and I are getting a bit antsy:confused3

1) Club Floor concierge have no more "pull" than you do by calling.
2) The Chefs Table is very popular, so you got to keep calling early.
3) Best of luck to you.

I wish I could help - I tried today also (and this is the LAST night of our stay), and I got through at 7:01. It was already taken!! We are dining in the regular V & A dining room for our anniversary, as we did on our honeymoon.

I did have luck on a trip getting the Cinderella's Royal Table - back when it was much more difficult - through my concierge. I still called myself, and my concierge also called, and she had better luck than I.

Regardless, have a wonderful time on your honeymoon!!:cloud9:

Took my sister a week of calling. She got it for the middle of our trip (not our preferred night) but that was the only time she was successful. She called every day at 6:59 a.m., and was usually the 3rd or 4th person to get through the phone lines. If you do not get the table, you can always try for the dining room. Good luck!

I'd call. There's only one seating a night at the Chef's Table, only one party can get it, and it gets grabbed up fast. Because there's only one seating, and only one party booking, there's very little chance you can get it through a cancellation.

Be sure to have yourself put on the wait list... I did not get the reservation, and were told that we were third on the wait list. V & A's called about 2 months ago and asked if we were still interested. Still interested???? Yup, we sure were! My husband and I were at the chef's table on Wednesday night and it was wonderful to be able to watch the kitchen in action. Of course, the food was pretty darn good as well......

We were very lucky to have been able to book the Chef's Table! :) We are going on Saturday, April 26th! Two months to go!!!

We actually had 4 people calling each morning. It was me, my DH, our travel agent and our Platinum Planner through concierge. We have the Platinum Plan booked for our trip! :yay: The first 3 days we did not get it. We were all dialing before 7 am. Our planner through concierge was the one who was able to book it for us. I do believe that they have more pull, as mentioned before. My advice would be to keep trying, and the more people calling the better. But unfortunately, once it's booked for the day, that's it. It's very popular, and it really is the luck of the draw.

Good luck, I hope that you are able to get it! :)

They don't have "more pull"...but internal Disney calls are answered first.
