My wife and I will be at WDW shortly after our 40th wedding anniversary. I'd like to surprise her with a dinner at Victoria & Alberts. For the dining room, it appears that you can attempt to book online vs. having to call in?
I'm tracking my 60 day window from check-in. Considering this is a "hard to get" reservation, I would typically try to schedule it as late in the trip as possible to maximize the +10 advantage (or +8 in this instance, since that's the length of our stay).
But a little complication is that we have other family members joining us later in the week, so day 5 or 6 is the latest that will work. I'd prefer day 5, but day 6 would work.
Should I try for the latest day to increase my odds? If I'm unsuccessful in getting that day, is it likely that the other one will already be gone by the time I check?
Other than ensuring I'm logged on early and have a fast connection, any tips on getting this ADR? TIA.
