Planning for our first US trip next Aug 23-27 & trying to save some money to counteract the CAD-USD exchange rate - ugh. Any help would be appreciated 
1. Can 2 day park-to-park plus one day free UT tix be upgraded to a Power Pass? If we upgrade after first use do we only pay the difference between the non-discounted 3 day pass and the PP or do we lose the savings?
2. Can I buy UT tix now & not activate until Aug or is there an expiry date? Would it be better to wait?
3. Kind of guess work, but based on this year's blackout dates we can sqeeze in 1 or 2 more trips.
Our March break is not blacked out this year - except the week-end of Mar 19 at the end (surprising since Easter is the week after). Is that 2nd full week in March normally not blacked out or does it change drastically every year?
Same for August. This year no blackouts after Aug 15 until the end of Aug. is this normally the case?
Trying to avoid paying for a premium pass is a challenge with a teacher's schedule
