Has anyone else experienced problems with this company? I Purchased UT tickets for the first time after reading rave reviews in various places. $2,000 later I have nothing to show for it! I ordered my tickets 3 weeks ago and have not received them. I called UT and they said, "oh yes, we have been having trouble with the USPS. It appears your package is missing"
I was told that it was no big deal, they would send me my ticket numbers before I go and I can get tickets issued at the gate when we arrive.
Um, NO. I would like my tix NOW so I can book FP+ 60 days out (we are staying at BLT). They told me to call back 61 days before we leave to get the tix numbers. What terrible service!! I spent $2,000 but I now have to wait 3 months in the hopes I get tix numbers? What a scam.
I'm a little stunned after all the great things I read. I'll be calling my CC company as I have nothing to show for my $2,000. I am beyond furious.

EDIT:
NOTE: For those reading...

The OP's problem has been fully resolved to the satisfaction of the OP.

Oh lord. I just ordered tickets tonight and now I'm worried reading this. Did you do standard shipping?

Being upset when a package goes missing is one thing. Calling it a scam when they have offered you a solution that will cause you not to suffer any negative consequences won't earn you much sympathy here especially with regard to a high volume company that I would guess leaves 99% of the readers on this board fairly happy ....

I find it hard to relax having spent $2,000 and won't see anything for it until 61 days before I leave. I'm sorry but that is terrible business and very unsettling. Considering I was told I would have tix in hand in 7-10 days.
So far I give the company an F.

I always use them and have never had an issue. I would call back and ask if they can send you replacement ones and cancel the ones that have gone missing.

I'm curious. If someone else ends up with her tickets and uses them, what happens when she gets to disney and tries to get into a park?

UT will make things right for you.

I sure hope you are right, Robo. In the meantime I can enjoy paying the CC bill and keeping my fingers crossed that I have tickets in 3 months. I should have just purchased from Disney. Lesson learned.

The fact that the usps lost the package really has nothing to do with ut. However don't freak out I've had things get lost and they show up a week or two later.

I agree, not their fault. I take issue with the fact that I have to wait 3 months to get my ticket info rather than give it to me now. I've paid for them--even UT agrees they appear lost. I don't like ordering something that I should have had in 7-10 days but now I have to wait 3 months. And what if there IS a problem with the tix 61 days before?

If you ordered the tickets and were promised them in 7-10 days, you should get them then or be offered a full refund so you can purchase them somewhere else. Were you offered a refund?

I've never used UT but considered it. Regardless of the fact that others have had positive experience, it doesn't negate the poor customer service they are providing. They shouldn't expect you to just wait around for the ticket number and as one of the other posters said, what would happen if someone gets the tickets and used it even before you get the tix numbers 61 days out or before you show up to the park. Did you ask UT that question? If they can give you tix numbers 61 days out, why can't they give it now? You should ask for a refund or demand that they give you numbers now. I don't see there's a reason to wait 3 months to get tix numbers when they are fully paid for and you should have them in possession.

Glad I didn't end up buying from them!

Good luck!

UCT is not a scammy company.

USPS, on the other hand...

What does the tracking say? Since I used to deal with UPS and USPS tracking for a very large company, and watched "lost" packages show back up ALL THE TIME (I had a very thick folder with tracking numbers that I would check on when I had free time, and I probably couldn't have counted on two hands the number of packages that actually never tracked again and never showed up either at the fulfillment center or at the customer's, and, frankly, I bet those 10 showed up at the customer's but they just said "bonus!" and never told us), I'm curious.

Also curious about where you are, where the package originated, and if there was any "weather" along the way, or known huge multi-car accidents that might have impacted a USPS truck. (remember that Fedex truck that was involved in the horrible accident last year or so?)

If you ordered the tickets and were promised them in 7-10 days, you should get them then or be offered a full refund so you can purchase them somewhere else. Were you offered a refund?

And when the tickets DO arrive? What then? They aren't going to offer a refund, since those tickets will likely arrive and they then have to trust in the honesty of the customer.

ETA:

I ordered my tickets 3 weeks ago and have not received them.

When were they *shipped*?

I hope it gets resolved to your satisfaction. I am sorry that this happened. I have used them 3 times now for WDW, DLP, and Universal and have never had a problem. Getting the number instead of the tickets does kind of suck. If this is the route that you end up doing, maybe try to get it resolved before your first day at the park, so that you don't waste any time on your park day.

Good luck

Coming here and posting in anger isn't going to help resolve the issue. Neither is yelling at a CS rep on the phone. Call them back, calmly explain what happened, and what you want. If it doesn't work, ask (politely) to speak to a supervisor.

Remember, the person on the phone didn't lose your package, didn't set company policy, and doesn't have very much wiggle room regarding what they can and can't do. You need to have that person put you on the phone with someone who does. Getting curt or yelling at them (which, from the tone of your post, I'm assuming is what happened) will do nothing to make that person want to help you.

Good luck.

If UT doesn't supply you what your ordered, because it was lost in the mail, I'd call me credit card company and file a complaint with them for a refund and order from Disney.

The OP doesn't need the actual tickets to get FP+ or to enter the parks.
There is no need to pick up any tickets at WDW, so there would be no wasting of time on a park day.

You're being unreasonable. You don't need the physical tickets at all. Not to book your fastpasses. Not even to get into the park. All you need is the ticket numbers, which UT told you that they will give you.

This is really not something worth stressing about.
