UT Ticket Number Question

I'm herding a party of 11 this Nov., we always buy passes from UT and I'm encouraging my sheep to use them and quickly. When ordering, can they learn the serial number at the moment of placing the order so I can have them for Fast Pass scheduling or do they have to wait until the tix arrive? We never confronted this since we buy well in advance but I'm concerned the others may drag their feet.

I believe they get the numbers right away. But be aware some have had their CC purchases through UCT delayed for authentication. My friend waited until the last night before making FPs and had to wait a day or two to sort it out with UCT.

I recently purchased tickets from them and had them in hand in less than a week. I live in MA. I think because mine was a special deal 7 day hopper that e-ticket was not an option. So even if they chose to get the actual ticket - it should be in hand pretty quickly. I did a trip recently with a co-worker and she did the electronic tickets and was able to have the number right away.

The biggest fact that may affect people is the refund policy -- this is what is on UT website


Refund Policy
Mailed Ticket: 365-Day Return Policy - 95% of the item(s) order amount will be refunded back to you. Yup, we are friendly frogs. The 5% fee will cover the delivery, handling and the processing fees associated with accepting payment and fulfilling the order. The tickets must be unused, unsigned and not damaged. They cannot have been attached to a Disney profile or been activated. Expired tickets, or any ticket not currently sold on this site, are non-refundable. Please contact our customer service team so we can give you instructions to make the process run smoothly.

E-Ticket: This E-Ticket is non-refundable.


So if for some reason they have to back out and can not go -- they could have the option to get a refund with the hard ticket -- only as long as it hasn't been linked to an account. So maybe share this info so if they need the option to get a refund -- they will be more likely to purchase now.

Just give everyone the date of August 15th to purchase hard tickets, so they should be in hand before your FP window and anything after that date will have to be an E-ticket.

It is tough to get that many people on the same page

Thanks, all, I'll just ride them until they make the leap. Four of us are on site at Board Walk the rest off site but I've got them all on my Friends and Family so we'll all be eligible at 60 days.
