Welcome back! We are booked for 2/13 and I was wondering, and I know this sounds weird, but did you get the Minnie Mouse lotion and shampoo, or the herbal stuff? Anything that you can tell me will be much appreciated...

We got the minnie mouse shampoo. It was in the soft, squeezable "tubes", as oppossed to the plastic bottles the resorts use.Hope this helps!

What were the evening shows on your cruise?

The evening show schedule on our 3-day cruise was a bit out of the ordinary because they decided to show Santa Clause 2 in the Walt Disney Theater on the 2nd night of the cruise instead of the Variety show.

Sorry that we didn't meet you on the cruise heffie.

We did not do any excursions, except for Atlantis. We loved it. Yes, Santa Claus played the 2nd night. My oldest son took advantage of that, and he loved it. (How bout the perfect weather we had???) The first night was Her-cules and the last night was Disney Dreams. Wish we saw it at 3:15 AND the regular later showing- it is that good!

Did you do the DCL Atlantis excursion or go on your own?
Tours, swim, beach ??? I've been trying to decide for our family whether to rent a "day room" or just go to another beach because we just really want a good clean fun beach for the kids.
Any recommendations?

We just got back from the 3-day Nov. 7th Wonder and our family took a taxi to Paradise Island (Cabbage Beach). The surf was very rough and I swam for only a few minutes. I got flipped over by the waves and had to put my hands above my head so I would not hit my head in the sand and get knocked out. It was scary. It was probably worse than usual (the surf) because the red flags were out which means no swimming.

My sister and her family did the Blue Lagoon excursion and enjoyed that very much. If I ever do a 3-day cruise again I will go to Blue Lagoon. (I've also been to Blue Lagoon years ago, but my teenage son was looking for more waves than they have to offer. Paradise Island was more than I bargained for.)

Towncrier and other Nov. 7th cruisers: Sorry I didn't get to meet you all at the sailaway party. There were 17 of us so it was hard to leave my group when we left port. Were you all able to get together? (Towncrier, were you and your wife wearing "Cruise Addicts" t-shirts on the morning we arrived back at port? I thought to myself, "I wonder if that's Towncrier.")

We weren't the cruise addicts. I was wearing a pale green polo shirt that had "Towncrier" and my name stitched into the pocket. We were on the first seating of the TAP rotation. I did carry around my camera bag with a lime green ribbon trailing from it on a few occasions, but not always. I think that my wife would have thrown me overboard if I had worn a tri-cornered hat on the cruise.

Perhaps we'll see you on a future cruise or at WDW.

Did you do the Atlantis excursion or did you buy a room there or at Comfort Suites? If so, did you reserve ahead of time or get a day rate? We're trying to figure out if it's worth the $ to use the pools. Thanks!
