Using WL pool?

I am glad to know about the pool toys myself. My daughter said she could not remember for sure from last year at FW. She did say that she thought the same thing as what Van posted as the lifeguards would not be able to see clearly with too many rafts, etc. in the pool. I think we are taking a few noodles with us just in case.
I hope this board doesn't get too wrapped up in the pool issue. As I said before, having wandered over on the resort board, I found too many people that seem a little, let's just say "intense". FW is the place to go for some laid back and relaxed fun. That's why we chose it for our family trip. I know as far as the pool goes, it's a nice place to cool off, but we really save our excitement to TL or BB. My daughter thinks she may just try that ski jump thing this time at BB. Kind of looks scary to me!

Thanks for the pool toy information. I would think that Sept. will be a slower month and we might be able to use them. I am not worried about the pool either. I am more than happy to have all the wonderful attractions that FW offers!

We have pools here that we can go too. So we are not driving 13 hours for a pool!

I am so glad that we have FW to go to!

Just a little reminder....

The DIS does not condone "cheating" Disney, or breaking the rules. So please do not post ways to "get around" the pool hopping rule. Disney is very specific about this - no pool hopping allowed.

Just returned from our stay 4/18 to 4/23 with at least 3 afternoons at the FW pool. We have also stayed at deluxes and moderates. I found the pool very relaxing in the afternoon, and loved being able to read on a lounge chair, just wish the birds were less aggressive about food! LOL I also like the deeper end of the pool. (Had trouble swimming in the Hard Rock Pool, almost too shallow for me).

The thing that I wish was available at FW is a whirlpool. That's what my feet crave after the theme parks, and one of the reasons we've never stayed at a value resort yet.

I didn't even think of that...no hot tub...I might have a problem. My son LOVES the hot tub at the Lodge. I think I'm gonna have to leave out that little detail. Seems like an expensive souvenier is gonna be on someone's payback list!
