Planning a trip this summer and expecting it to be busy, my BIL will be going and he has been doing chemo so immunity issues and also fatigue. Thinking we will probably use a wheel chair for at least part of the time, will have pretty limited plans definitely not trying to do it all.

We would like to see Fantasmic & World of Color, if we use the handicapped seating how many people can be in the area? Are there other places we could have a good view and he'd be okay in a chair? Standing for a long time wouldn't really be an option. We will have enough people to reserve a spot without everyone waiting the entire time.

We'll be staying offsite with ART transportation but also will have a rental, would it be best to use the drop off area to minimize the walk to / from the parks?

Both of those shows do have designated wheelchair spots but I'll let someone with more experience chime in about them. For WOC, you will still need a FastPass to see the show even though you'll be in the wheelchair area. All guests in the viewing area must get a FP.

We did Fantasmic! on our last trip with my mom who was using her wheelchair. Her wheelchair was up at the railing in the handicapped section and both my girls sat on her lap. They directed my dad and I to the back of the handicapped viewing area. I'm not sure how many people would be allowed, but they didn't say we had too many.
