Has anyone done this? Did you have any problems with it? Were the proper # of days deducted from you WDW ticket?
I just read about it on mousesavers.com. It sure would save a ton of $ for our June trip.
I'd appreciated any feedback.
Thanks!
Using Walt Disney World Tickets at Disneyland
Interesting, unpublished fact: you can use any unexpired, leftover days on a Walt Disney World ticket at Disneyland or DCA! Present the Disney World ticket at the gate on arrival -- they will take it somewhere, deduct a day from it, and give you a one-day Disneyland Park Hopper ticket. You can repeat this day by day until the Disney World ticket is used up. They will not give you a multi-day ticket all at once, even if you have multiple days left on your Disney World ticket. Also, MouseSavers.com reader Danny P notes that any Disneyland ticket obtained from exchanging a Walt Disney World ticket must be used on the same day it was exchanged.
This policy has been in effect for at least 5 years, and the information was last reconfirmed by a MouseSavers.com reader as of March 2009. Don't even bother calling Disneyland to ask about this -- the people answering the phone have no idea and they will tell you they don't take Disney World tickets.
Disneyland tickets are NOT accepted at Walt Disney World, and Annual Passes are only good at the park where they were purchased (WDW Annual Passes are NOT good at Disneyland, and vice versa).

It's really easy. Just take your *still valid* WDW ticket to the Entrance GATE. The CM will have you step to the side for a moment while someone takes your WDW ticket to the computer. It doesn't take long at all. They will issue you a one day ticket for both parks, if your valid WDW had the park hopping option, or they will issue you a one day ticket for one park if your WDW did not have the park hopping option. You must do this each day you want to use your WDW tickets. They will not issue anything but a one day ticket.
