What else do you need to present, if anything, when using the TIW card? Thanks!:)

I think once in all the times we have used it someone asked for picture ID. Otherwise we just tell them we have it when we order and present it when the bill comes.

I've needed to show picture ID a few times when using TIW.

I don't recall ever being asked for ID when using TiW. Perhaps that's because most of the time we are doing a room charge and our KTTW card has the same name. But we have also paid cash several times without needing an ID.

Only one name goes on the TIW card. So that person has to be the one to present the card. And they need to prove the are the person whose name is on the card.

We returned from an 8-day trip to WDW in late May/early June and used our TIW card at all sit-down meals, but never once did any restaurant ask for any form of ID.

If you were paying with a KTTW card or credit card, they usually don't.

Used mostly Disney gift cards and if there was a small balance left on tab after that, used cash and/or credit card.

I've always been asked for ID when using it. It's probably because the TIW card is usually in my name and my husband is usually the one putting down his KTTW card to pay (we have different last names).

However, even when I use my credit card or KTTW card to pay, they have asked me for ID. On a sisters trip last year, they asked for ID even though we all had the same last name.

I slide my KTTW card and TIW card into the plastic sleeve. Because it's my KTTW card, I presume they never asked for ID since the names matched. But just in case they did, I had it on me.

I think the only time I was asked for ID was using my AP for parking. (We were at the World last month.)

I've used it many times and never been asked for ID. however on this past trip we were told that the credit card usd to pay for the meal had to match the name on the TIW card. We have always travelled with my parents and we all stay in a 2 br villa and on this one occasion my dad wanted to pay for the meal with a different credit card than was attached to our room key cards but our server said that wasn't allowed since the TIW card is in my name, not my dads. It wasn't a big deal but I was surprised since I know we have done that in the past. The restaurant we were in this time was Be Our Guest - maybe this happened because it's new and was high demand? Or maybe that's always been the rule but not closely followed?

It has always been the policy but it is not always followed. I normally just pull out my card to pay when I pull out the card but I do think my mother has paid for a meal once when we were using TIW but officially it is supposed to be the person who's name is on the card. With family if someone else was planning on paying I would just pay for it and then they would pay me back.

From the TiW website (under 'Other' in the Benefits Section:
  • Tables in Wonderland memberships are non-transferrable. The Tables in Wonderland member must be in attendance at the meal, present the Tables in Wonderland card, a driver’s license or state ID, and pay for the meal, in order to apply the discount.
  • The Tables in Wonderland discount is good for up to 10 people including the member, as long as everyone is on the same check, and the Tables in Wonderland member is paying the bill. If you have the Tables in Wonderland card, and your spouse or partner has the Tables in Wonderland secondary card, together you may cover up to 20 people. Both members must live at the same address and be 21 years of age or older.
