Using tickets and upgraded to annual passes same day

We have 3 day tickets without park hoppers, we will be upgrading to Florida annual passes. My question is on our first day if we do Hollywood studios in morning and upgrade to the annual passes while we are there, will we be able to do EPCOT that same day using the passes?

I believe that should work. We upgraded mid-day and my understanding is once you are an AP holder, you immediately are able to use the benefits of it (i.e. park hopping).

Should take effect immediately. We did this at DL last year and were given our AP passes right then and there.

Like others said - you can do it right away. We did last year and it was amazing. We upgraded on day 3 I believe.

Yup.
You will be handed you new active APs within minutes.
They "print" them right there at the ticket counter or Guest Relations.
