Using Tickets a day before check in - FP+?

We were originally scheduled for May 2nd-8th at CBR, but we decided to come in a day early due to flight schedules. No room at CBR with the discount, so we added that night at Pop. So, now we have...

May 1st: one night at Pop, room only

May 2nd - 8th: six nights at CBR with 8 day hoppers

I know that we can actually use our tickets the day before we check in, so we were planning on using them the 1st through the 8th, but, since we don't have any tickets with our Pop reservation, MDE won't let me make any FP+ reservations for the 1st. Is there any way around that? Anybody know?

No; that is the main drawback of having a package and arriving early.

As soon as you activate the ticket portion of your package at Guest Relations, book your FPs for that park day.
