are you able to do that? Can we take the shuttle to the hotel that has the monorail and then take the monorail to the park? I have no idea how that works or if it's a waste of time.

Busses do not run from one resort hotel to another. THey run between resorts and parks. So to to get to the Magic Kingdom resorts which have a monorail, you would have to take a bus to Magic Kingdom anyway. So monorail would not be an efficient way to get to the MK from your on-site hotel. BUt you can ride the monorail from the MK to the MK resorts anytime just to visit them.

I was assuming you meant a shuttle from your on-site Disney hotel. If you meant an off-site hotel, then its shuttle would drop you off at TTC, and then you take a monorail to MK.

We have actually done things like that. Say we have reservations to eat at the Poly, we take the bus from POP to the MK and then take the monorail from MK to the Poly, then we took the Poly's bus to Downtown Disney LOL

I would say take the bus from PORFQ to TTC then the monorail to the Poly and after your breakfast the monorail back to TTC than switch to the monorail to Epcot

You can't get a bus to TTC these days, but you could take a bus from POfQ to theMk and then take monorail or boat to Poly.

Thank you, I did not know. In the past when we had ADRs in different resorts we were always told to take the bus to TTC and then transfer to another bus.

Yeah, the TTC used to be a true hub for transportation, but it isn't used for a whole lot these days except for day guests to the MK and Epcot monorail transfers.

This is what we do. we looove taking the boat to the poly (from mk). its such a serene and beautiful ride! i highly recommend it!

As you post more, you're bound to start learning and using the Disney Shorthand. Most people just spell out Epcot. I get hung up on CR and just type Contemporary (resort).

remember to leave over an hour travel time to go from your resort to the MK and then to the poly. The travel time is fun but it takes longer than it seems to.

just the walk from the MK buses to the monorail will be 5 mins, (depending on how fast you walk, less) then the wait for the monorail. the resort line will make two stops before arriving at the poly so it will be close to 10-15 mins to get there once you're on the monorail.
