Hi all, we are on the upcoming Iceland cruise during the time that our home resort booking window (11 months out for WL) opens for our big family vacay next summer. The question is- Can I use the DVC rep and their resources/station to help make our reservation or is that taboo with their rep? It would sure be a great way to not burn a ton of minutes and such on ship WiFi and would be a great help overall. Any assistance or experienced info in doing this onboard the boat would be appreciated. Thanks!

If your sailing on the magic they have the new Wi-Fi setup where you pay a flat daily rate depending on the type of internet access you want (ie. social media only, web access, etc). It’s unlimited use.

You can access DVCMember.com and many other disney.go.com domains using the ships WiFi without needing to purchase an internet package.

I’m glad you were able to do this, but it did not work for us on our last two cruises. You could go to the Disney sites but they never fully loaded.

I don't think the DVC reps have the same "powers" as Member Services. Their task is to direct people to events, not to help people use their memberships. You could ask, but I wouldn't count on their being able to help with reservations.
