Using the 40% discount

Is there any way to get the 40% deluxe discount for visits until 8/14? I currently have a package booked for 7/31 - 8/7, which includes tickets (hopper + more) and deluxe dining plan and would love to be able to get a discount for the package or room, whatever, to save money, especially since they are currently promoting the room discount.

The discount is available through 8/14, assuming there are rooms available.

Yes, I think you can. We had a room only discount last year, and had the park tickets and such as part of the package. I would call Disney and find out for sure.

You can. We booked our Poly vacation with the 40% discount. We have DxDP and park hopper tix.

I thought it was only 35% for deluxe for the summer dates. It shows 40% for deluxe villas and 40% for deluxe during spring dates. I have a July vacay booked at Wilderness for 35%. Am I missing something?

I called Disney on my way home from work last night and got the discount . It was good that I called because they had left off my cousin's granddaught, now added. So we are set for WLR with tickets and DxDDP. I am so excited!

That's what I thought. 40% off was until June.

It was a 35% discount, but every bit helps! I did have to upgrade from standard view to woods view to take advantage of the discount because they didn't have any more standards for the discount at WLR.

I already had Poly booked since last August for July 3rd. through 10th,2010. When I heard about the 35% discount I called and was given the discount. Was so happy, saved a lot of money.

They actually never had ANY standard rooms available for the extended dates at 35% off. You could either book a woods view or courtyard view. I called the first day the new extended discount came out and was told by a few different CMs that standard view was not included in this promotion at WL. Still....the discount is great for the middle of summer

Good for you...congrats! I tried the day it came out and there was none available online so I called and two different CMs told me that the standard view was never available. I ended up getting a Courtyard view anyhow because it was only $102 more than a woods view and my boys love to swim. This way, we'll be able to sit on our balcony and watch them. I'm sooo excited.

I wonder if this is how it is with any discount. I had a 40% pin code and tried two different sets of dates, in September and November for a standard view, and neither had that view available. Neither CM I spoke with said anything about those rooms "never" being available at promotional rates - wish they would have, it would have at least put my mind at ease that I didn't miss the boat on them --and that would certainly explain why they weren't available. Good to know!
