Does anyone know if there are any breakfast type items (muffins, Danish, bagel, etc) that can be purchased with 1 snack credit and where might I find these items? Would they have them in the quick service area of my resort (POR) or anywhere in particular in the parks? Thanks for your help.

The quick service area that sells backed goods and ice cream at your resort (POR) will have breakfast items.

Also all the parks have vendors that sell bagels and the main street bakery has stuff at MK.

I did this last week at Sassgoula Floatworks at POFQ. They had muffins, danishes, etc. Cereal is a snack credit, too, but you need another one for the milk :sad2:

You should DEFINITELY try the cinnamon rolls at the Main Street Bakery in MK if you get the chance!

They are only 1 credit!

we always stop at the park bakeries on the way out of the park for our afternoon break...and we'll spend a snack credit each buying our favorite pastries. Back in the room, we put the bakery to-go box in a large ziplock baggie to keep it fresh overnight (bakery boxes are not air-tight so I always pack a few extra large ziplocks) Next morning, we brew coffee in the room & enjoy our fabulous pastries. Alternate plan...go to resort's counter service breakfast in the morning and get a muffin or pastry there (the resort counter service do have fresh pastries during breakfast, but usually gone later in the day.)

Our favorite bakeries/items are:

Magic Kingdom, Main Street Bakery I love the giant ooey-gooey cinnamon roll, DH loves the extra large apple turnovers Note-a lot of the resort breakfasts have similar cinnamon rolls --same recipe, anyway, but the Main Street Bakery version is much larger than the resort version.

Epcot: Boulangerie Patisserie (France bakery) DH likes the apple turnover, I like the pithivier (almond pastry)

Epcot: Kringla Bakeri (Norway bakery) We both like the sweet almond pretzel, I also like the school bread (which is like a bread-donut with cream filling & coconut on top)

Hollywood Studios: Starring Rolls Bakery, any of the large muffins (note: Starring Rolls closes by about 4:00 in the afternoon)

We were able to get made to order yougart, fruit and granola parfaits at our resort (WL).

I love this idea! Then we are not waiting in a long line at the bakery in the AM. My plan is to make it to rope drop most days. Who wants to fight with lines at the bakery when you could be running around scooping up fast passes and riding rides! Thank you!

Cereal or cereal amd milk--- depending on your resort. We were able to do 1SC= cereal & milk last year at ASMu. I read it may be different at different resports though.:wizard:

We always use our snack credits for breakfast. Cheese danish and fresh fruit cup for me and we use our resort mugs for our drinks. This means we have our breakfast for at least half our holiday (if eating 2 snacks at breakfast) paid for out of our DDP. We choose to only have soft drinks while at our hotel using our refillable mugs, drinking water at the parks (refilling our bottle from the many fountains around the parks) If we want an icecream we take it as the dessert part of our counter service when offered.

We have done this at 3 different resorts and it's cereal and milk for 1SC.

It is super easy to use the SC for breakfast items. There is plenty at the resort food courts and also each park. You can get bagelsw/cream cheese, fruit, muffins, cinnamon rolls, doughnuts and the list goes on. It might actually end up giving you too much food though. The first time we were on the DDP I planned it out that we would use the SC everyday for breakfast since we are breakfast eaters. I thought it would be perfect for us since we normally only eat bagels or cereal type stuff anyway. Well by about day 4 we were all tired of eating. We were using the SC for breakfast the CS for lunch and the TS for dinner. It was WAAAY too much but that was also in the days of appetizers at the TS. Now we only do 2 meals a day with the SC in between if needed. It works much better for us. We have breakfast late around 10 and then dinner around 5:30. Even with that plan we still find that we split a few CS meals and have more than enough.

Quoting this post because the advice in it is so awesome!

We did the same thing last year. You get a treat from a Disney park--how cool is that!

Here's a tactic: portions are so large in CS meals that I rarely want to eat the dessert right after the meal so I try to order desserts that can keep well for a continental breakfast.

On days when our dinner ADR is early, it works out well for us to have breakfast snacks in the room, then an early CS lunch. We prefer lunch food to breakfast items as it is.

The food court at your resort will have a bakery open all day. You'll find brownies, extra large cookies, maybe magic bars there. I'll get one of those with my CS lunch or dinner, then package it in a Ziplock and stow it in the room where it's air-conditioned. I can eat a bite or two of something like that with my coffee and be good to go. My son is always happy to eat what I don't. We'll wind up having lunch at 11:30 and beat the worst of the lunch time crowds.

While I've never done the DDP, it looks like there are A LOT of breakfast-like options for 1 snack credit.

So far, I've discovered that Boardwalk Bakery has bagels for 1 snack credit. I'm told that Main Street Bakery at MK and Starring Rolls at DHS both have pastry-like breakfast options for 1 snack credit.

Boulangerie Patisserie also seems to have many 1 snack credit breakfast-like options, but they won't open until 11.

Honestly, it looks like there are a ton of options for snack credit breakfasts. My thoughts were to maybe pick up a pastry or bagel somewhere the night before, and then have them for breakfast the next morning...

LOL...I just went back to read all the responses, and it would seem that I'm completely NOT an original. LOL

We used SC for breakfast one day during our last long weekend get away back in May and plan to do the same for our upcoming weekend trip in Sept. DH & I both got muffins & bananas for breakfast one morning with our leftover SC:banana:. Worked out great!
