Does anyone know if your bags get tagged properly for "priority" if you use resort drop off on getaway day? This would be if you have a FC ticket or high airline status.

I've never used it before and was curious if it's run by the airlines or Disney.

Thanks

I was on United first class last trip and I saw them put the priority tags on the luggage--I was actually watching to see because I wondered the same thing. Not sure if they would know to do it if based on status, but probably if you pointed it out, they would do it.

Yes, they put the yellow priority tags on our luggage at RAC yesterday. We were flying Delta FC. We also checked 2 bags each, no payment discussion. They gave us our boarding passes, luggage claim checks and we were on our way.

I’ve needed to point out my status with the airline. I actually wouldn’t have thought to do it the first time it happened, except I was asked for payment for my checked bag. The woman checking me then said she saw my status in my reservation. Now I just mention it as I’m checking in, and my luggage is tagged appropriately.

I don’t know with which airline you have status, but with United, I can (but don’t actually do) check a bag that weighs up to 70 lbs. The resort airline check-in has told me that they can’t accept bags over 50 lbs. I didn’t ask them to specify what that meant, so if you are planning to use the benefit of exceeding the customary 50 lbs for checked luggage, I would talk to resort airline check-in ahead of time to make sure they don’t have a different policy.

That’s good info, thanks! I don’t think we’ll be over 50, but I’ll keep that in mind.
Thanks again
