Using RAC and paying for baggage fees ahead of time?

We're at Beach Club Villas and want to use the RAC for our luggage to get it to the airport tomorrow rather than drive it there in our rental car. I have the number to call to pay the baggage fees but there is no one there, the line isn't working. The concierge desk told me that the RAC desk is now taking payment directly from the guests rather than having to pay the night before and get a confirmation number. Has anyone done this and knows this to be true? I've never used the RAC service before.

That's what concierge desk person said but the paperwork in our welcome packet still says we need to pay in advance. I was hoping to find someone who had actually paid right at the desk and had no problem doing that.

It has been reported on the boards that you can now pay right at the RAC desk.

It worked! We just checked our bags at BCV and paid right at the desk. Very easy to do and quick, there was no line at all when we walked up. I will start using this service in the future now that I know how easy it is.

Glad to see this. It made little sense for them NOT to take payment directly and require folks to pay over the phone.
