Using points from multiple contracts

Ok a little background. We have 3 contracts. We are booking a trip in March and August 2026. August is a big family trip so I’ve lined up my points for 11 month reservation. For the March reservation I have bought 24 points thru magic beyond and I wanted to use 6 points from one of my SSR contracts and 51 from my poly contract. I was told you can’t do that. Has anyone been able to accomplish this? The CM I had didn’t seem to know a lot and she was asking her supervisor. Please let me know if this is possible

It should be possible. You can always make a dummy reservation to tie up the points in your other contracts so it uses the exact amount you want, and then just chose the order you want to use the contracts when you make the reservation.

I’m confused, how did this even come up now since you can’t make an 11 month reservation for August 2026 or a 7 month reservation for March 2026 until next month?
Are you planning on making an 11 month reservation at one of your home resorts next month for your August 2026 visit & you also want to use leftover points from 2 contracts + OTU points when you book next month for a 7 month reservation for your March 2026 visit?
Are your 3 contracts all in the same membership (same use year & titled the same)? If you have different memberships this could be the problem.
Will you be making the 11 month reservation first or the 7 month reservation? If you’re making the 7 month reservation first this could be the problem because of the way the system pulls points for reservations.

it is 7 months from March 3,2026. I know how many points I need to make my August 2026 reservation. I would like to make my reservations right at the 11 months, yes they are at my home resorts next month in September. I guess what I may do is cancel one night in my March reservation and then add it after I make my reservations next month.

You can do this at 7 months. When you make the reservation, you choose which contract the points come from. Note that they must be in the same use year and membership number.
