Using other Pools? BW and BC

Can you use other pools from other DVC resorts? We will be staying at BWV from July 11-18th and have read so much about Stormalong Bay at Beach Club (and just saw the profile on Travel Channel for BC).....can we use their pool as well?

Is it within walking distance?

Stormalong Bay is within walking distance of BW, but unless you are staying at BC or YC or BCV, you cannot use SAB. This applies to Animal Kingdom and SAB...all other pools DVC'ers can hop to though.

I was there last week and saw a family of 10 get kicked out of Stormalong Bay.

DVC members are permitted to pool hop at other DVC properties and at the hotels. Two exceptions:

No pool hopping at Storm-A-Long Bay or the pool at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

You have to be staying at Beach Club or Yacht Club to swim at SAB.

You can not use the pools at other resorts. DVC members were given this as a perk and I bet DVC regrets that now. When you stay at any resort you are paying for pool there, and the other things offered at that resort, I am sure you know this.
The pool at BW is a great pool you should enjoy it.

Just to clarify the comment by Pa@okw95:

You can not use the pools at other resorts.

In fact, you can use the pools at other resorts, other than SAB and AKL. You are welcome to use other pools at any other resorts at WDW. Just show your room key with the DVC member on it and it'll get you in.

But I don't think you can use the Grotto pool at the Swan and Dolphin since they are not operated by Disney. Luna Park is a nice pool.

KyMattDisney, I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but are you a DVC member or are you a cash guest? Others here know more about it than I do, but it's possible pool hopping is for point stays only...

Granny---You have to be a member to use the pools at other resorts. It is a good guess that the person asking the question is not a member. I hope this makes it more clear--Granny
