Using Memory Maker for 2 trips?

I'm thinking that this would work so I'll run it past you guys and see what you think. The second trip is the important one because it will probably be my Mom's last trip and I really want the MM for that trip.

I'm arriving for the first trip on 8/28 so my first picture will probably be taken on that day. I leave WDW on 9/7. This is a solo trip so the MM would be just linked to me.

My second trip starts on 9/25 and ends on 10/2. This trip would have me and 3 others who I would link the MM to.

I was thinking that you have 45 days to download your pictures before they go away and then 30 days of access to MM after you start downloading. So I would start download my first trip pictures on 9/23. This will give me access to MM downloads until 10/23(10/22?).

Then after my second trip I will download the rest of my pictures starting 10/3 and ending before 10/22.

Does this sound like it will work OK? I really don't want to jeopardize the second trip pictures but it would be nice to get free pictures from the first trip.

14 days from the first pic, no exceptions. Photopass used to have the funny wiggle room you are thinking about. They took it away when they put in MM. The new system is all electronic so it "knows" when to turn off.

You will have to buy it twice I am afraid.

14 days - it's 30 days.
From the first pic - incorrect. From the first download, not first photo taken.

As long as you download the pics (which has nothing to do with viewing them online. People seem to think that's downloading) less than 30 days before the end of your second trip you'll be fine. So like download them the night before you leave for trip two and you'll only need one memory maker.

Ooh they changed it! I had it last fall right after they released it and it said in big letters that you had 14 days.

Yeah you had PhotoPass+. Memory maker was released on December 6th, 2013 and has been 30 days since the beginning. We're still in that awkward transition phase where people who have purchased PhotoPass+ before it was discontinued are still using it. PhotoPass+ is still 14 days from turning in the voucher.
