Using FP+ for Shows - What Time to Arrive?

I normally don't use my FP+'s for shows, but it made sense for me to do it last night for my upcoming trip. The FP window is pretty early in regards to the show times - that's kind of the reason why I wanted to FP it to begin with, so I didn't have to arrive so early.

For example, for For the First Time in Forever at Hollywood, the FP window is from 12:35 to 12:50 for the 1:00 show.

Since I have never used FP for a show (and please don't tell me that I shouldn't use them for a show... I know), what time do I realistically need to arrive before the 1:00 show? I'm not getting there at 12:35 if I'm using a FP on it!

Help!

5 min before the end of the window.

We use FP+ for some shows. Mother-in-laws cannot do Thrill rides.

Each show is different.

Both First Time & Little Mermaid give nothing for arriving too early - arrive at end of time window.

Beauty & Beast lets you select a better seat - arrive as early as possible.

Nemo - you select better seats by arriving earlier. Lion King, don't bother arriving too early.

Great tips - thanks!

If you arrive after the window closes for a show, you won't be admitted. You'll be sent to the standby line to try your luck. So in the example given, it likely does not matter too much when you arrive so long as you are there by 12:50.
