Using e-ticket/cast comp

My husband and I each have two e-tickets that our friend who is a cast member gave us to use for our trip. We have already linked these to our MDE account but on the print out it says to take the ticket to exchange it at a ticket sales window. Since they are already linked, will we still need to go to the ticket sales window?

If you have MagicBands linked to your MDE where the comp tickets are linked, you do not have to exchange. They are valid within your MDE.
