Using DVC resorts after contract ends...

If you own at SSR and the contracts end for thsoe in the otehr resorts, but you still ahve that 12 years left on the SSR contract will they still let you use the other DVC resorts with your points? Or will you have to use SSR only for thsoe remaining years?
Has anyoen asked about thsi?
In our membership for the first contract is there anything that says we can always move around or at soem point could that make it that we can only stay at BCV?

At any given time, you can use your points at any resort that is in the current "DVC collection". So after OKW, VWL, etc. go "off-line" they'll be unavailable as a "DVC resort" to stay at, unless Disney re-leases them after the current lease expires. You will also be able to use any other DVC resorts that open after SSR too (assuming there are any).

There is nothing that closes us into BCV only - we can access the entire DVC collection at the 7 month window

I recall reading something in the contract that allows them to suspend booking into non-home resorts. The also have a lot of control over booking windows.

I'm not sure exactly under what circumstances they would do this ... Perhaps they'll find these features useful during that 2041/42 period when all heck breaks loose.
