Yes I know, using DVC points for a DCL is not effective use of points, but I am curious. Does anyone know how many points I would need for a catagory 11 stateroom on a 3 night cruise commencing January 4, 2007 for 2 people? Thanks in advance for all of your help. :)

As far as I know, the 2007 points chart has not yet been released even for MS use. Typically this has not occurred until mid-March or so each year, but I would check with Member Services.

Ok, then maybe someone would know what points were needed for a 3 night cruise this year in January for the same parameters. Thanks

67 Points are currenlty required for a Cat 11 standard inside stateroom for most of January. The exception is a Jan 2 sailing which is 104 points. If the 1/4/07 cruise falls in the same price point, it's likely to be 104, also.

67 points isn't bad, considering that Disney wants $1400+ for 2 people for that date now (you could rent your points to someone else for $10 - $11 and still not have enough). However, if it's 104 points per person, you would be better off renting those point sto someone else and paying cash for the cruise. However, if you have to 'use or lose' the points, a cruise is a good way to do it!!
