Using DVC Discount

Me and my parents share the DVC membership and we will have 8 people on our upcoming trip. When it reads that you can use the discount or entering EPCOT lounge, could I use my app for 4 people and then one of my parents use their app for the other 4 people?

For the lounge, it depends on how busy they are and the CM. They may allow all 8 up showing one ID, or make 2 show ID.

They will not usually let up 8 with one membership card.

Each owner needs to show their own card. I have been there a few times with a larger group checking in ahead of me and they did indeed limit per owner

Sorry, So if there are 3 of us on the deed we could potentially bring in 12 guests or still just 4? we each have the QR code on our phones

You each get your own guests so as long as each can show the DVC Y with your own name…which sounds like you can..then yes, you can bring up a larger group.

Just be aware that it can fill up and they may not have room for that many until,someone leaves.

We have 3 owners in our group and we have gone up with 6 people and only one had to show credentials. While DVC has policies, we can all agree that not all policies are followed 100% of the time. I can’t tell you how many times we have been given DVC/AP/ Tables in Wonderland (really miss TIW) discounts without showing anything. There were some that glanced quickly at it, some confirmed with picture ID.

FYI, the QR and number on the Disney MagicMobile pass are in no way tied to your DVC Membership. It's no different than the code on the back of any MagicBand as it ties that MagicMobile Pass to your MDE profile so you can use your smartphone much like a MagicBand for park entry, room charging and for Lightining Lane queue entry.

Just to clarify for others, the rules are an owner plus 5 guests so 6 total per card

It is Groups larger than that in which they typically ask for more than one owner to show their card.
