So we just got back from our
Disneyland trip, and I put together a list of our experiences. Probably more than what the average person would need to know, but when it comes to Disney, I tend to go a little overboard. We had 10 day WDW magic your way base tickets, no park hopper, and expire 14 days from first use. We did NOT activate them in WDW before going to DL, they were completely unused. Here's what happened.
DL Ticket Experiences
7/10 Wednesday arrived Magic Kingdom 7:00pm, short lines, received one day one park ticket took about 5 minutes, CA early entry
7/11 Thursday arrived CA 8:30am, no lines, received one day park hopper ticket took about 7 minutes got a Radiator Springs Racer Fastpass for 5:45-6:45pm, MK early entry
7/12 Friday arrived MK 9:00am, lines about 10 people deep, received one day park hopper ticket took about 12 minutes, CA early entry
7/13 Saturday Day off
7/14 Sunday arrived CA 10:30am, no line, received 1 day park hopper ticket, took 2 minutes, no RadiatorSprings Racers fastpasses left, CA early entry
7/15 Monday arrived MK 1:45pm, lines 20 deep, received park hopper ticket, took 15 minutes, CA early entry
7/16 Tuesday arrived 9:30am, line 2 deep, received one park/day ticket, took 2 minutes, MK early entry, got Radiator Springs Racers fastpasses for 5:15-6:15pm
7/17 Wednesday arrived 11:15, line 10 deep, took 17 minutes, received one park/day tickets, CA early entry, 58th anniversary of DL
7/18 Thursday arrived 10:24am, line 2 deep, took 14 minutes, received one park/day tickets, MK early entry, Radiator Springs Racers fastpasses gone
7/19 Friday arrived 10:24am, line 15 deep, took 12 minutes, received park hopper tickets, CA early entry
7/20 Saturday arrived 9:05, line 5 deep, took 8 minutes, received park hopper tickets, MK early entry, got Radiator Springs Racers fastpasses for 3:45-4:45
I hope that helps with anyone planning future trips! We were so happy to have this thread before buying tickets, otherwise we would have spent $500 on two 5 day DL tickets per person! We would do this again and again, it was so easy!
