Somehow I've managed to rack up about 1300 points this year for my Disney Rewards Card, which is more than enough to cover our food for 6 days (we rarely use more than 500 points a year on a weeks worth of food.)

So can we use the points to buy / renew our DVC annual passes or purchase park passes for the one member of our group without an annual pass?

Only 36 days to BCV! - seems like its been a whole year (Hey, it has been a whole year!)

Yes, Reward Dollars can be used for park admission. As I sure your aware, you have to transfer the points to a redemption card before you can spend them.

Since the redemption cards have an expiration date, you can also purchase Disney Gift Cards using your reward dollars. Disney Gift Cards don't expire.

Yes, you can use your reward $ to buy tickets, Dining Plan, food, TIW card, upgrade APs, buy Aps, put toward your dues, anything Disney.

Good job racking up that total!! We always manage to spend them before they get that high.

Unusual year, I held a convention in Las Vegas and racked up about $20,000 in expense in two days (no I don't gamble - can't handle the foul smoke in the casinos) - and I upgraded the card three days prior so was getting 2-5% on $ spent. Got about 400 points just from that meeting.

So do I simply hand the redemption card like a credit card to the park guest services people? Not sure how I would pay off the dues with it unless all you do is enter the redemption card number.

This is kind of a pre grad trip for my and my brothers son - both turning 17 and next summer will be focusing on preparing for college. Now if I could just use the points towards college!! After all, most of them are just Mickey Mouse universities.:rotfl::rotfl:

I never have enough Disney dollars to pay all my dues. So If you are using 2 forms of payment for your dues, you have to call member services. I've never attempted to pay my dues online (see previous sentence :lmao:).

Yep, give them the redemption card at the ticket window and they will process the payment basically like a gift card.

As for dues, you would call Member Accounting and give them the redemption card number and they would process payment.

Excellent! The trip is looking cheaper all the time. I just cannot get around the cost of one day at Universal since both want to go there.

NICE!!!!!! I'm lucky if i get enough points to pay for one meal!!! (not much of a spender or credit card user)

We charge almost everything and always pay it off in full each month. We've had about $500 spending money each time we go down. We love the card.

Wow that is wonderful! I am letting our points build up and hoping to be able to cover the cost of a meal plan for us when we go in 2 years. Gotta love those reward points :goodvibes

Where can I buy gift cards with our points? I might prefer to do that instead of buying a meal plan for my kids. I find the meal plans confusing and with a full kitchen in our DVC room we will be eating there sometimes. I hadn't even thought about that!

If you have a Disney Store near you, you can do it there. Or any store at WDW that sells them (including resort stores).
