Using Disney Gift Cards for Meals

Seems like it shouldn't be a problem but wanted to check here so I dont get a shock on vacation. I have been picking up disney gift cards every week at the grocery store and saving them to pay for our table service meals. Just wanted to make sure they are accepted as a form of payment for meals? TIA!

We have less than a month til Our WDW vacation!

I've been doing the same thing

I just got a GREAT tip from another poster... she said that you can go to any Disney Store and combine all of your giftcards into one! Isn't that cool? One card to carry instead of 20!

Also, I've been told by lots of people who have done it, that the cards are accepted at almost all places at the parks and resorts.

This all equals good news for us!

Another suggestion for you....when we received the $300 gift card offer this April at check in, I had them immediately apply it to our account (KTTW) and started with a credit balance. I had read this from another DISer before our trip and the CM commented she thought it was a great idea and was going to start suggesting it. You will be given a printout showing the credit and given your gift cards back. This way you don't have to worry about losing them!

We used the credit for our food too!
