Using Disney Gift Card

Hello Experts.
Can a Disney Gift Card be used like cash? Specifically, can it be used at CS places and Food Carts? Can it be used at the F & W booths to buy snacks and "adult" beverages? Can it be used at TS restaurants?

We have used the Disney Gift Card everywhere...restaurants, CS, F&WF kiosks, shops, etc. We usually take a couple of gift cards with the bulk of our money instead of cash; just take enough cash for tips and emergencies.

yes, mostly, yes and yes.

While you can use a gift card at the booths for F&W, still take some cash with you. Not all booths take the gift cards and sometimes the computers are down so even those that normally would take the card won't do it at that moment.
