Is there anywhere at the parks that I cannot use Disney Dream Reward Dollars? We have about $190 that we had built up and just got the reward dollars card.

We will be down at WDW next month and I thought it may be something to use for things like golf fees. Does anyone know if there are any areas @ WDW that you cannot use the card?

We used our during our last trip and all we did was have all our charges made to our room and then paid with the Reward card at the end of our stay. Our next trip in May we will have over $700 to use and I plan on doing the same. I do believe you can use it anywhere in the World and any Disney Store.

You can use your reward dollars pretty much anywhere at WDW. The "pretty much" really only applies to very small vendors (i.e. some carts, etc run by third parties).....but these are the same places that you would not be able to charge to your room, use disney gift cards/disney dollars, etc. I have only heard of a few of these places....one that I experienced was a little pizza cart near PI.

Wow $700.00!!! That is impressive! I was so proud of our $450.00 this past week. All of our character dinners were paid for with our rewards, it was awesome!

The card is accepted all over WDW where credit cards are accepted.

Enjoy!

You probably already know this, but in case you don't, the Chase Visa Disney rewards card is reloadable, so don't throw it away after you have used up all the dollars on it.

I have heard/read this, but what about the expiration date that shows on the card?

It does expire and all points/reward dollars that are on it are supposed to expire with it. I know that they can transfer rewards to new cards (when they are lost or stolen), but not sure if they will do it after it expires or right before. I think my card had a about a two year expiration on it, so save it if you are going back and know that you will use it again before it expires, but I wouldn't carry a balance on it if your not sure you are going to use it all up.

You can also transfer to it by calling or online instantly...so if you suddenly realize you need a little more for a trip, you can just call and transfer more later.

Well if you are going for impressive we have $1500 built up over 2 cards 1 year

Any use it everywhere we did

i was able to pay 1/2 of my maintenance fees with what i accumulated on my rewards card! alot of people have frequent flyer miles, or other types of rewards on their cc's. this for us works the best! i love my disney rewards dollars! by the time we get down there for our april trip, we'll have accumulated enough to pay for part of our tickets - not bad!
i just use the cc for EVERYTHING, then pay it at the end of the month. works well for us.

We also use our credit cards for everything and always pay them off at the end of the month. We haven't found anywhere at WDW that we couldn't use the reward dollars (but we never stopped by any of those snack carts)

We bought into DVC last year and one of the incentives is $500 Disney Reward Dollars.

We just got our first Rewards card in the mail - loaded with $500 that its taken me about 14 months to build up. Planning to pay part of our DVC annual dues.

What surprised me was how quickly it came - only about 10 days :thumbsup2.

After reading some of the other threads I had bee thinking 6-8 weeks and I might have to pay the dues another way & then use the card on our trip this fall.

Back to OP's question...you cannot use the Rewards card at Jellyrolls on the Boardwalk. You can't charge to your room there either. They take cash or just about every other credit card.

Be careful of the expiration date. Any dollars left on the card after the expiration date are gone. You are not allowed to move the dollars from an existing expired card to a new card. However, you can add more dollars to it at any time up until the expiration date.
