Using Disney Chase rewards points for tours

I thought I read that I can use my disney rewards points to pay for tours. I found that the Savour the Savannah Tour was available during out stay. I usually wouldn't pay for this but I have about $1200 in reward points so thought why not. You can book the tour online but it only listed credit or debit cards for payment. I didn't try to put in the rewards number. Has anyone successfully used their rewards redemption card to book a tour online or will I need to call to reserve?

The Chase Disney Visa rewards redemption card works like a gift card. If you can’t use a GC online, you’ll have to call.
