I tried to do some research to see if anything has changed about the DDP since I lasted used it last November (06). When I did a search it brought up something about Tip not being included. Is that the deal? I need to know if I am supposed to tip on the this plan in November of this year. Also, any other changes to the plan for 07? I didn't see anything in the search forumn. Thanks!

Oh one more thing... Are there special menus for children that have to be used? We are going to Le Cellier and Coral Reef and Kona Cafe and SciFi. The rest are buffets. Thanks!

it is my understanding that the "tip not included" won't go into effect until 2008

Nothing that substantial has changed. I think the biggest change I remember is that the Spoodles Pizza Window isn't participating any longer.

Thank you! My girlfriend is staying at Boardwalk, so that is good to know that Spoodles take out isn't going to work for her. Thanks!

Still wondering what ever came of the Children's menus. Have they done away with the exact same menu for all the kids at most of the restaurants? Also, is it easier to track what kids and adults credits you have left now. When we were there last year, they didn't separate the kids from that adults credits and it was kinda a pain to remember which ones you had left. We like to share meals so we don't always use one credit for each person at each meal.

Thanks!

Things change all the time at WDW. The child menus have changed at least twice since you've been there; more choices are provided. They have made it a bit easier to track how many adult and child credits you have left for TS, but it is still up to you, on your honor, to keep track for CS.

Disney is denying that this policy is even going into effect in 2008, so one of three things are happening:

  1. The rumor was completely false (most likely).
  2. Disney got such a backlash of complaints they changed thier mind.
  3. Deny until the last minute

The big difference between this year and last is that kids credits are fully separated out and you can not use more credits for one meal than people on the plan.

Thanks! But can I use less? In other words can we still share a meal. My husband and I usually share a meal for breakfast and then share a meal for lunch. We have never shared a meal at dinner because we usually go to Buffets. But this year we are trying lots of Menu Restaurants and therefore might want to try and share a meal or two so we can squeeze in a character breakfast at the end of the trip. Would that still be possible? Thanks!

I'm curious about CS meals? If we use CS for lunch can we also use CS for dinnier the same day?

You can have CS for multiple meals in the same day. The restrictions that have been enforced is not allowing more of a type of meal than is on the card. So if you have 2 A 2C, you can order 2 S CS and 2C CS. (Not 4 A CS at once)

While it has been posted here as fact :sad2: , changes to the DDP for 2008 HAVE NOT been released by Disney. Until Disney makes their announcement, it is only rumor and will not be allowed to be posted as fact.
