Can I use one of my ts credits to pay for a friend's dinner? We have a friend meeting us for part of our trip, can we use our credits to cover their dinner?

No you can't. They won't let you use more credits than the number of people on your reservation.

No, you cannot use dining credits to treat someone not on your plan.

From the 2014 dining plan:
You may not redeem meals or snacks for any Guests who are
not on your Disney Dining Plan.

That is what I thought, I was just double checking. So you can just get 2 checks then?

Just let your server know who will be using dining credits and who will be paying OOP. At the end of the meal your table will receive 2 bills.
