using coupons whilst on DDP

Hi Just wondering if you can use restaurants coupons at the restaurants at downtown disney when you pay for them with Disney dining plan points? I.e using a free apitizer coupon when paying for the rest of your meal with a table service credit?

Just I've got quite a few places I can get good discounts from but will also be using ddp.

I've got a free kids meal at rainforest cafe when you order an adults meal and this would mean my youngest child who isn't on the dining plan (she's only 2) could have a meal too without us having to pay for it.

Also I was thinking of getting a laundy's card which gives you $25 on your birthday and you collect points to use at rainforest cafe or trex or bubba gumps, could I still collect points if paying by ddp credits so that I can then use these points at bubba gumps when not staying on site.

Hope this all makes sense and hope I can use the coupons as any more money I can save the better

I personaly havent used any coupons but im gathering there mit be small print somehwere excluding all other deals and ddp might be classed as a deal

I suspect the Rainforest Cafe coupon you have got entitles you to a free kids meal when purchasing an adult meal. As you won't physically be paying for your meal then I doubt if you could use it.

I also seem to recall reading that the DDP has no monetary value or words to that effect. That means that, when using it at RFC or T-Rex, again you are not physically spending cash so probably wouldn't get the points.

Are you wanting a discount on an icecream Sundae?
iLove Orlando does a $1 off coupon, print as many as you want or pick up the magazine free outside Walgreens.
It usually works out better than 10%, although I have not been in for at least 2 years, we find Beaches and cream better value at the Yacht & Beach club. I found Girardelli's sundaes got smaller and dearer so stopped going.
