Years ago you used to be able to trade 2 counter service for a table. Can you still do that?

You could never trade counter service for table service on the current dining plan - not sure where that comes from.

Like I said it was yeeeeeeears ago, I think it was with the Gold Key Club (something like that). Thanks

Yeah, I don't think you've ever been able to do that with the DDP. We used it for the first time in Jan. 05 and you couldn't then. The DDP was only a few months old then. I know there have been times when you could use a TS for a CS meal, along with a couple other goodies (snacks, souvernir, etc.).

We didn't do that this trip (or actually ever) but we did use a few CS credits for 3 snack credits (only at resort food courts).

Happy Dining!

Yes....during the first few years, lots of guests were showing up w/o having made any ADR's and not being able to get in to any of the more popular restaurants at a favorable time. They allowed you to downgrade to get CS instead and then you got a lanyard with pin for each guest or some other small perk. There was never an option to trade up, just down.---Kathy
