Using Capital One Venture points to offset travel expenses?

I’ve been reading up on things you can use Capital One points on. It seems you can’t use them to buy tickets from Disney, but you can from Undercover Tourist. Does anyone know if I can use them to offset a payment on a package I already have booked? I *think* you could on just the hotel, but not sure if you can on a package since it includes tickets. What other kinds of things can they be used on?

Not what you asked, but I just got one of these for the 60,000 bonus points, and the bonus credited as soon as I hit the 3000 spend. I did not even have to wait for the monthly statement close, I could immediately erase travel expenses as soon as the minimum spending was charged. I just used mine to erase airfare and hotel charges, so I can't answer your other question. My Universal deposit shows as Loews (hotel) which worked, but I don't have any Disney charges to check.

If it codes as a travel related expense and not theme park you will be able to redeem your "points" in my experience all Disney packages code as travel agnecy (as they should)

Anyway you could always use the card for room charges then off set all your food and ANYTHING charged to the room.

I have a Capital One Spark card for my business. I’ve used purchase eraser to pay off Disney packages, CRT reservations and MVMCP tickets. I would think you could do the same thing with non business cards.
