Using banked points then rebooking question?

Hello and thanks in advance for anyone who can help!
We've owned dvc since 2017 but never banked points.
Planning a trip that includes 46 banked points from 2024. Our UY Oct.
Dates are not completely solidified and may move a couple of days out.
Booking non-home resort at 7 mos. [Aulani].
If I book and include the 46 banked then have to push out a couple of days, what happens to the banked point?

Ex if we end up rebooking to just push out a couple of days does it affect the banked points, if the new dates are less? [If there are more weekday than weekend points used in the new dates].

If I understand your question, you're wondering what happens if part of your booking is with "in-year" points and part is with banked points? You're looking to perhaps walk/modify a few days of a 7-month reservation? What happens to the banked points?

If/when you go in to modify the reservation - if the new dates are available, the system will ask again how to prioritize your points, at which time you will use the banked points first again, then your regular points. If I didn't get your question correct, I'd need more info! But basically, you should be able to reuse the banked points on a modified reservation, as long as the banked points don't expire before the new dates of your modification. If the modified reservation is less points, you'll likely use the banked points and then recoup some of your in-year points.

Banked points are always used before any current UY points.

So, your 46 banked points from 2024 UY will be used up before the Oct 2025 UY points.,,

If the dates are less than what you originally booked, the ones that come back will be your Oct 2025 points.
