using april 09 park schedule

How realistic would it be for me to use the 2009 park schedule for April to plan my trip this coming April? I'm trying to get my park days and restaurant choices selected so once October 27th comes around I can get right on making my ADR's. I know park schedules will also be released that day
(10/27) correct for April 2010? If so, what time do they usually post?
Lastly, do you recommend staying away from a park that has extra magic hours? I'm using the crowd calendar also from touring plans and it suggests mk as one of the best parks to visit on our day of arrival, but based on the 2009 schedule MK had extra magic hours that morning.
This is my tentative plan for our week, we will be staying at the boardwalk and have 4 adults and 3 children (12, 11, & 8) with us. Alot of my restaurants are in Epcot/Hollywood studios due to being so close to the Boardwalk. Any suggestions or comments would be much appreciated!! I know there are alot of you out there that are great at planning so I need your help!!
