Using an extra magic band for a guest

I have a couple of magic bands assigned to my account . Would it be possible to reassign one to my mother-in-law who will be joining us on the trip. That way we would be able to all have fastpasses.

If your Mother In Law has a ticket, then she can get fastpasses, she doesn't need the magic band. I don't think you can reassign a magic band.

Yes, magic bands and FPs are two separate things. Any guest with a ticket can get FPs, whether they have a magic band or not. Those guests without magic bands will have a hard, plastic ticket (similar to a credit card).

What's important will be to have your MIL get a ticket in advance, so that you have her ticket number to schedule her FPs with. You can get her signed up on MDE and then schedule her FPs with yours (hopefully).
