Using agent vs AAA vs self booking

I have gotten price quotes from Dreams Unlimited, AAA and calling Disney direct - all same price! If we book with AAA we get a few perks like free pop at MK, luggage tag and "preferred parking" at parks (although we'll mostly use transportation)

Dreams Unlimited checks for price changes and will make priority seatings. Has anyone used them for priority seatings? I honestly don't mind doing it myself and would hate for them to try and not get Princess Breakfast and me not to do it at all! I live in Eastern time so it is not that much trouble for me to wake up by7 am and call. Has anyone worked with them and what has your experience been?

Hello,

I booked the Swan thru DU for our upcoming trip in August. I did everything over the internet. I received my comformation the next day. Just print it and take it with you. They also supply an E-mail address if you have any questions.

They did E-mail me about the PR seating. You just fill out on the chart where you want to eat, and when it is reserved they add it to the chart. You can change this if you have to. Very convenient, also I will print it before we go it does have the priorty seating number on it. You will need that too.

As for an AAA discount, it was cheaper for me to book the Swan at Club level thru DU.
You can call CRO and book room only with an AAA discount. I saved $71.88 a night at AKL concierge. And I booked the ASmovies at $92.00 for one night.

They do ask for your membership number and you need your card at check in.

Have a wonderful time.

We used DU for our trip several years ago. Not only did they get every PS for the time we request but were more than happy to make last minute changes. They reviewed our itinerary and made some very constructive criticisms. We were going to attempt to get our own PSs as well as let them but opted not to. Nothing stops you from doing it also.

They do keep checking for better rates and are willing to work with you on codes etc. We were able to save $50 a night with a deal that they found.

We were a bit reluctant to use a "internet travel agent". We thought that it would be impersonal and that we would have no contact with a real person. Nothing could be further from the truth. We were constantly e-mailing questions and answers back and forth. It worked out great.

We booked through an agent with AAA Vacations. She also made all my PS's and changes (I had over 25 PS and Activity Ressies). They do not check for codes-you have to do this on your own and let them know.
