Using a random magic band for next trip

Hello. I didn't purchase a new magic band for my upcoming trip. I'm going to use one that I have...and yes, it is activated. Question: Will this band be able to open my WDW hotel door? Will I be able to charge my purchases to it? Note, my credit card is hooked up to my MDE. For as many times as I go to WDW, my brain refuses to remember this type of stuff. Your help is appreciated. Our magic bands from 2018 worked fine for everything - except ride photos which we didn't care about - on our WDW trip last week

Old activated MBs should still work. Anything you charge goes on your room folio and will be charged to whatever card you entered at check-in.

You only get ride photos if you purchased Photo Pass or G+

Old activated MBs should still work. Anything you charge goes on your room folio and will be charged to whatever card you entered at check-in.

If you do not want the CC on file to be charged, then go to the lobby every other day and payoff room charges using GCs etc.

Your old MBs will work indefinitely for tap functions like opening your room door, entering parks and LLs, etc. They may or may not work for linking ride photos, depending on whether the batteries are still working or not.
