Okay, guys,
I am very computer illiterate. I have a picture of my dog that I have saved on my computer. I wanted to use it as my new avatar, but it is too large. Can anyone help me figure out how to get it smaller to comply with the rules? I'm rather clueless!
Thanks!

I did mine in photoshop in the end because everything was too large in file size. I can have a go at editing your picture if you like?

If your having trouble with the size you can use an image hosting site and the URL from there. There are no size (kb) restrictions when using a hosting site. You can watch my video tutorial on how to post a photo for a little more information about hosting sites.

Instead of using the "browse" button to upload a photo. You will paste your URL code the hosting site provides. Hope this helps.

Photobucket will allow for minor editing. It does have a crop option, and you can reduce the size when you upload.

Video tutorial link in my siggy!

Thanks, Will! I'll try that.

Soopafly, if I just can't figure this out, I may be in touch with you. Thanks for the offer!
