I know that a one park per day ticket allows you to get into one park per day, but here is my question. If I am going to DLR for three days and I want to be able to switch parks on one day, can I buy a four day one park per day pass and use two of the days in one day? A four day one park ticket is a lower cost than a park hopper for three days, but I wanted to know if it wasa allowed because the language seems very clear that it is one park per day.

The language is correct. They are not going to be able to let you in to the second park after you have already activated the ticket in the first park. Your options would be to upgrade to a hopper or buy a 3 day (one park) ticket and one single day (one park) ticket. Probably cheaper to do the hoppers than to add a single ticket.

Regardless of the length of the ticket, in order to enter both DL and DCA on the same day using the same ticket you have to purchase the park hopper option.

Just out of curiosity, how much were you going to pay for a 4 day 1 park per day ticket? If you go through way.com you can get a 3 day parkhopper ticket for $239. This is cheaper than purchasing direct from Disney. If you still choose to buy 1 park per day they sell them also for a cheaper price. We have used them before without any problem. Just thought I would pass this on to you.
