Using a credit card

We just booked a surprise trip for the end of May We are staying off site for the first time. Since I am used to charging everything to my room with my room card, I was wondering can I use a cc the same way? I know stores and restaurants, what about counter sevice and ice cream carts?

You can use your CC everywhere. Some of the drink/ice cream/snacks carts are not set up for Credit cards but all restaurants are.
