using 2 discounts

Have got ressies for Pop in May this year. Got the free upgrades discount and asked about dining code. She said they didn't have anything like that right now. I asked about adding that later with discount if it came available and she said only 1 discount can be used. Is that true? Don't you think dining plan would be better discount if that becomes available?

It is true only one discount per package (AAA, promo, pin code, etc.) You should have been able to book the package with dining and get the free ticket upgrade. Are you asking about a Free dining promo or dining on the current package?

Pretty sure you can only use one discount at a time. I got the AAA discount for May & that saved me more money than using the free upgrade discount. Guess it all depends on what you will really use-some people don't care about the water parks or hopping. This year will be the fourth time we've traveled in May & I don't think I've ever seen a dining plan discount. I've seen it in Aug/Sept. but that is it. I also have to assume there will be no dining plan discount in May because they are offering the free upgrades-I think there is only one 'dangling carrot' per season!!
