Well, I upgraded us for our October trip and when I did so I made the price of the package higher than the limit on MY Disney Visa (which is the card I used to make the deposit)... it's the first credit card I ever got and as such has a pretty low limit.

So my question is, if I put the remainder of the balance on my DH's card will I have issues? They're both Disney Visas but I just started wondering if i'd have issues with it being on two DIFFERENT Disney Visa..

Anyone done this before?

I booked Disney Visa Free Dining.

yes i have done this. they don't care how you pay to be honest. you'll both get the 0% for 6 months.

It doesn't matter, I've made deposits with one card, called a bit later to pay a bit more with another card, finished paying in cash when I checked in... Disney doesn't keep your CC on file, so you need to have it handy when you call to put any money towards your vacation.

Now there is enough to pay the basic deposit on one card, correct?? I don't know if they can break up the payment like that... Or I'd just use your husband's card for the deposit, and anything else you want on your card.
Chase isn't going to know the difference between your reservations so you'll still get your 6 months free of interest.

Well, I just realized I left out the entire point behind my post-- when I upgraded I switched to the Disney Visa Free Dining.

And no, my limit is high enough to pay for the old package (at POP) that we were booked on but not the new package at CBR... I accidentally already paid the deposit off my Disney Visa so the 6 months is gone anyway for the deposit :rotfl: (Never pay the bills three days after having surgery :rotfl:)

When I first got my card, the limit was low. So, I called and asked if I could get an increase, and they gave me what i needed. Something to consider if you think you will be booking all trips with this card...

usually with offers you just have to be a card holder and show proof upon check in. I don't have a disney visa so I don't know what the terms are, but I'm guessing a deposit made with the CC would suffice, and the remainder paid however you'd like.
