If I use my two day park ticket to go to two separate parks in the same day will MDE allow me to make 3 FP at each park or a total of 3 FP at one of the parks?

You cannot do that at all.

The only way to visit two theme parks in one day using a multi-day ticket is to buy the "Hopper" option.

You CAN use two completely separate tickets to go into two parks on the same day.
You still can't book more than 3 advance FP+ (unless you link each ticket to a separate MDE account.)

I bought a 5 day ticket. We are only going 4 days total so my plan was to visit two parks on our 4th day. So you are saying this can not be done?

1. This can be done correct? If it can be done
2. then will MDE allow me to make 3 FP at the two parks I visit that day?

1. No.
2. No.

Well that stinks lol!!! Back to plan B then. Thanks Robo

Do you have 2 completely separate tickets? In the first post you mention a 2 day ticket and in a later post you have a 5 day ticket. If you have 2 totally separate tickets you could use one ticket to enter the first park and the other ticket on the same day at a different park. To use 2 separate tickets would be more expensive than adding the park hopper to one of the tickets, but it is possible.

Nope just thought it would be easier to get my question asked that way. Thought it may be more confusing if I originally mentioned I has a 5 day pass. I am really bummed about not being able to use the pass that way but then Disney would not get their money that way

Can you make use of the park hopper on any other days to justify the extra $68?

I'd be wanting to add an extra day of vacation

I'm still not sure why this idea still persists to this day. It has been like this for ages. You CANNOT use a multi day ticket to enter more than one park per day without a hopper option. Especially after the 4th/5th days etc, those days become very economical (sometimes like $10 or $20) so no, you cannot use them to 'double up' on your park days. That day is provided as a discount for purchasing the 'package' essentially. As Robo says, the only way you could do that is if you burned two completely unrelated single day tickets, which would be extremely cost ineffective (much better idea to add hopping for the entire 5 days and have the option to come and go as you please.) Adding hopping for a single day isn't the best use either (but its cheaper than two single day tickets.) The advantage is that once you add a hopper, there are unlimited hops you can make, so even if you ended up missing a show you wanted to see, you can hop back on Day 5 and only catch the highlights if you wanted.

Base is base, people. One park, one day, the end. (I know MANY of you on here know this. I'm still amazed some don't, and this misinformation keeps coming up.)

OP, of course, you can always upgrade to a hopper, but if you wait until the end of the park days, you lose some of the value of having had it. Say you plan a day at DAK, it closes at 5 or 6, if you had the hopper option, you could still potentially spend till 11pm or 12am at MK and make a totally long awesome day of it, if you wanted, and if you had a hopper. Otherwise, once your first park closes, with a base ticket, you are done for that day.

When you get to WDW, go to guest relations and see if you can exchange the 5-day ticket for 4-day hopper so that you are not blowing off one whole day ticket.

This question comes up at least weekly on the forum as well as stories of disappointed guests trying to enter a second park as you describe and being turned away at the turnstile.

The one whole day ticket in this case costs $10.
If they will allow the suggested trade-in/upgrade, the cost to do so will be $54.

(All prices, plus tax.)

Eh, I don't know, I don't think it's that obvious that you can't do this. So let's say on a five-day ticket, each ticket is costing you about $60. So if you wanted to burn two of those entitlements on one day by entering two different parks, it's not exactly free. I can see why this question gets asked.

Or you can add Waterpark and more. In that case you can use them on same day that you go to a main park.

They are very specifically called "days," not "entries." To me, that's a pretty obvious distinction. You can't use more than one "day" in a day. It just doesn't make any sense to me

But I suppose that isn't the case for everyone since it's asked so frequently. Back when the economy was in really bad shape, this question would be asked every single day (often multiple times per day.)

I guess I just hope that people feel like they can ask whatever questions they have on here without feeling like they should have known the answer already.

If it's a question that is asked somewhat frequently, then it's obviously not that obvious.
