Hello!
Background - Group of 5 Adults touring on Wed 1/23/13.
We will be in position @ 9AM and will stay until after the Cinematic
Spectacular...Assuming it is scheduled
We do not have any kind of Front of the line pass...
Question - Does USF have a "Fast Pass" type set up?
Anyway...I was thinking of going directly to MIB @ "rope drop" followed by
the Simpson ride.
We would then hit SF for Disaster and then NY...
Any thoughts on how to stay ahead of the crowd?
I would assume everyone hits Production Central first as they enter, kind of like Spaceship Earth @ Epcot...

Please share your advice!
Thanks!

Meh, crowd should be low by then and you should be fine getting everything done. There are no free fastpasses. If you are intending on riding Rip Ride Rockit, I would do that first as well as Despicable Me.

Any other thoughts - From anyone else?

Should we hit Production Central first???

Or - Move past it and hit it on the way out??? Before CS...

Using Disney Epcot as an example - The "smart way" is to bypass spaceship earth @ opening - because "everyone" hits it as they enter and cause long waits - while you can walk onto GM design center and other attractions.

Your thoughts and advise please!

Thanks,
Ted G
PS - Please remember that we do not have FOLP or Express Pass!

I agree with Damo. Hit Rip Red Rocket first. There is no express pass for it, not even for resort guests, and it breaks down periodically. Since Dispectable Me is still pretty popular, do that next. Cute ride, and although it does take express passes, there should be the smallest standby line first thing in he morning. I would then do Simpsons and MIB, Mummy ride, then fill in with what ever you want.

The afternoon parade is short, but fun to see if you are interested.

There is no thing called fass pass at USO. That's Disney lingo. USO has express passes that you can buy. Get's you 1 use of each express pass line. I would never buy ahead of time. Price will tell you how busy the park is. Price varies based on how popular. Resort guests get unlimited express pass. Meaning they can use the pass as many times as want in all the rides that have express pass. That alone is a big reason I stay at the resort.

Hope you all enjoy the park. We really enjoy the rides and shows both in US and IOA.

you can get the layout of the park in advance instead of having to rely on the park guide maps you can pick up that day you enter the park.

use the single rider lines if the regular lines have longer waits than you wish to stand in.

hope your day is great and you enjoy the studios!

I would go ahead and hit Despicable Me first thing too. It's still pretty new and seems to draw people quickly.

We like to ride Despicable Me first (we don't ride Rockit) and then head over to Men In Black and the Simpsons. I then worry the whole time that the Mummy will be too crowded but it doesn't get too bad. We find that people really pour into the studios just before lunch around 11. A lot of them head to Shrek too.

Hit Rip Ride Rocket FIRST...it doesnt take express pass anyway and very often breaks down periodically throughout the day.The lines stay pretty long too even in off times.Since Despicable me is new I would also hit that too, then make your way over to Mummy if it interests you.

Thank you all for your input.
I will revise our plan to hit Production Central first and then move to MIB and Simpson's.
Thanks Again!
